Alejandro Dominguez is the paranormal investigator and filmmaker known as the Dead Explorer. He had his first encounter with the paranormal as a child when he saw a ghost in his grandparent’s home in Mexico. Now he travels across the country to document real paranormal activity on video.
Over the last five years Alejandro has worked with dozens of investigators passionate about the paranormal. People love his videos because they are authentic and real. Alejandro doesn’t fake evidence, use cheap thrills, and rely on trendy gimmicks. Instead his fans get to see real life paranormal investigators ghost hunting in some of the scariest haunted places.
Thanks to his credible approach he has gained over 45,000 followers throughout social media. His research has been covered by local and national media such as The Huffington Post, Made in Hollywood, and the Examiner.
Alejandro has lectured at universities and conventions (Phoenix Comicon, Comicpalooza, and FantomFest to name a few). In addition, he travels across the country hosting screenings of his paranormal research. In 2015, Alejandro was the lead consultant and investigator for a special paranormal investigation hosted by Fox Home Entertainment. In April 2016, he was selected to take part in the YouTube Off-Site VR Program in Los Angeles, CA. Later, in October 2016, he was selected to write and direct his short horror film “Temple of Blood” at the El Rey Network YouTube set in Austin, TX.
Currently, Alejandro is breaking ground with 360 degree virtual reality videos and is developing original content for OTT and traditional release. In addition, he is Lead Producer-Director at Ranger Dash Productions LLC, a full service video production company, which he founded in 2012.
