We continue to get ready for Season 6 with the top 5 ghost hunting videos from Season 2.
You might have heard the big news that Dead Explorer is coming back on August 5th, but did you know did know this will be the sixth season of Dead Explorer? To help you prepare for the brand new episodes, let’s take a trip down memory lane and look back at the top 5 moments from season 2 of Dead Explorer.
Number 5: Shadow Person
If you are big into the paranormal than you have probably heard about the infamous shadow people. In June 2013 we performed this investigation of residence where a young family claims a mysterious shadow person walks up and down the hall at night. In two separate instances we caught a shadow block our lights. It definitely raises a lot of questions. What do you think we captured? Watch the full video.
Number 4: Shoal Creek Massacre
Shoal Creek in Austin, Texas was the scene of the bloody Gideon massacre. In 1842, Gideon White and his colony of settlers were killed for cutting off Shoal Creek to a local Native American tribe. Local historians claim that a flash flood in 1915 exposed bones from several unmarked graves! As you can imagine, there are a lot of restless souls at shoal creek and it was during the investigation that we caught this intelligent EVP of a spirit communicating with us. “Here is a piece or rock. I’m going to throw it to you. You are going to return it back to me. Is that too much to ask for?” Watch the Shoal Creek video.
Number 3: Fort Ringgold
Fort Ringgold in Rio Grande City, TX was the scene of many tragic deaths. During a Tuberculosis outbreak, victims were brought into the fort to simply die when there no cure. Then their bodies were burned in an underground crematorium that we absolutely had to investigate. Not only did we capture a very strange EVP “I’m going to throw this to where I heard that knocking sound earlier”, we heard a disembodied voice that definitely was not a fan of fire! “Are you upset we blew out the candle? Do you want us to light the candle again?” “What was that? Somebody said no! I heard it next to me. Yea, I heard it said no. What would you do if we lit this candle again? Would you get upset? That was an insane no though”. Check out the investigation video.
Number 2: Dead Man’s Hole
Instead of a proper burial, unpopular locals were thrown into the spooky Dead Man’s Hole near Marble Falls, Texas An official historical marker claims that 17 bodies, from Civil War soldiers to unfortunate murder victims, were found in the underground cave! Now locals think there multiple ghosts in this location. We got the sense that we were not welcomed when we caught this Class A EVP recording Go away”? Later than night, during an isolation session, I could hear creepy footsteps approach me! “I just heard footsteps”.
Before we go to the number one, let’s take a look at some of the honorable mentions from season 2 that are worth check out.
Honorable Mention Number 3: Isolation Session in a Creepy Warehouse
My nerves were tested as I spent time alone with creepy mannequins in a haunted warehouse.
Honorable Mention Number 2: Haunted Moon River Bar and Grill
My awesome friend Hilah from Hilah Cooking joined me at in the kitchen of this 1800s school house turned bar.
Honorable Mention Number 1: Ghost Woman of Hollering Creek.
We went up against mother nature as we followed this intense farmer in search for the infamous lady in white.
Number 1: Ghost Girl USS Hornet
If you watched the top 5 moments from Season 1, you saw my first visit to the USS Hornet. If you are not familiar with the Hornet its worth checking out just to learn about it’s tragic history. In 2013 I returned to the Hornet as a guest of the Grey Ghost Paracon and captured the number one moment on this list that is guaranteed to blow your mind! To this date, it’s hard to tell if she is saying “Would you like to point that thing at me” or “would you like to play with me”. One thing is for certain, there were no kids with us that night and this is the best EVP I have ever captured on Dead Explorer. Watch the full clip.
