Will using a noose at a real life haunted hanging tree trigger ghost activity? The Dead Explorer attempts to find out in this new paranormal investigation!
The Hanging Tree
The hanging tree in Kyle, Texas was used to hang criminals in the wild west. People say that hanging trees carry scary negative energy, which definitely made me cautious. There are theories that spirits that suffer violent deaths might be hostile. Especially if those spirits were criminals with tendencies for mischief and violence. Never the less, I brought a real life noose to see if it could trigger paranormal activity on video! What would we find?
Paranormal Investigation Notes
This video guest features my friends Frank and Trevor from Panic Attack Videos. Very early on Trevor stated that he heard noises from another side of the cemetery. We decided to split up so I could perform an EVP session at the hanging tree. Panic Attack Videos has a very different investigation style than me, so it was almost natural that we were drawn to two separate locations. I know something had them excited because I could hear their voices carry from afar. I tend to be more calm and even keel, so it will be interesting to see what they experienced in the cemetery compared to what you see in this video. When they upload their video I will update this post with a link for everyone to check out.
This is actually not the first time I tried to use a noose in attempt to trigger paranormal activity. In 2012 I performed a paranormal investigation at the Wilson County Jail Museum in Floresville, Texas. The caretaker of the jail stated that a prisoner had to be hung twice after a failed first attempt to execute him. Locals believe that this troubled hanging caused his spirit to haunt the prison. In that investigation, I got to use the actual hangman’s noose from the jail’s museum. Even more, I definitely experienced strange sensations trying to use the noose.
