Was paranormal activity caught at a haunted antiques store? I performed a solo paranormal investigation to see if I could capture real ghosts on video!
Haunted Antiques Store:
The staff of this haunted antiques store have seen full body apparitions and heard disembodied voices on multiple occasions. The cool part is that they have a great relationship with the spirits. In fact, they are very protective of their ghosts. They wanted to know that I would treat them with respect before they gave me permission to visit.
During the investigation, one of the things that I noticed was that there was a lot of audio contamination from outside. This antique store is located in downtown Georgetown on the square. In fact, on that night there was a crowd at the old palace theater located nearby. The floor also creaked a lot whenever you walked around. With that said, I did hear some unusual knocks during the investigation, especially when I performed a five minute EVP location. Asking spirits to knock to communicate with you is a pretty common ghost hunting technique. You can ask the spirit to knock once for “yes” and twice for “no” (or vice versa). You hope you can capture so kind of series of intelligent responses. The downside is a knock sounds can be a natural phenomenon in an old building. You have to practice good judgment to determine if any sound is natural or paranormal.
Special thanks to the owners and staff of Cobblestone Upstairs Downstairs Antiques! It was a honor to be given permission to ghost hunt in their store. If you are near Georgetown, Texas please make sure to visit them.

This is the first part of one of the most active hauntings I’ve investigated. I caught creepy EVP recordings, unexplained knocking sounds, and an amazing ghost meter session on video. The full episode is now available free for Dead Explorer fans!
