Paranormal video! Real life scary haunting of a cursed farm! Owner reports hearing ghosts, being touched by spirits, and seeing creepy shadow people! The owner fears this house is haunted by an Indian curse!
The Haunted Farm
The farmhouse was built on land taken from Native Americans over one hundred years ago. The house is very creepy building. It never had electricity or running water and it has been abandoned for over twenty years. Plus the land is next to Woman Hollering Creek, famous for its “La Llorona” ghost story, which I also got to investigate (more on that below). In this video, I perform an isolation session to capture paranormal activity on video. I thought I heard several strange sounds, which included a baby crying! A second paranormal investigator also spent time ghost hunting alone in the farm later that night.
Woman Hollering Creek
Prior to the investigation of the farmhouse, the farm owner agreed to take us down to Woman Hollering Creek. A guest of his heard a woman crying there, which coincides with the legend of the haunted creek. There are actually several versions of this story, but most involve a ghostly woman heard weeping at night for her lost children, drowned or otherwise killed and thrown into a river. This is similar to the “La Llorona” legend from Mexico. Among the tales is of a pioneer family living near its banks is attacked by Indians. Seeing her husband killed brutally, a mother drowns her children in the creek to “save” them from a still more painful fate. When the attackers find the only surviving member of the family, she frightens them off with her maddened screaming. From then on, she wanders the creek banks, sobbing and crying.
