Dead Explorer performed a LIVE paranormal investigation on Time Warner Cable News Austin.
On Wednesday morning I woke up at the crack of dawn (4AM, a paranormal investigator’s usual bedtime) to take the YNN News 8 Austin team to the haunted Moon River Bar and Grill. The Moon River is featured in a three-part Dead Explorer paranormal investigation series. I chose to take TWC News to the Moon River because of the experience I had there ghost hunting. I caught several Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) Recordings and witnessed a real life light orb.
Live Paranormal Investigation
Every 30 minutes they did a two minute live feed where I got to talk paranormal, demonstrate gear, and show them what ghost hunters do. Not going to lie, going live was intimidating, but when you do something you love, it’s actually pretty easy! Definitely a thrill and exciting professional moment for me. Special thanks to Jess Mitchell of Time Warner Cable News.

About the Haunted Moon River
Staff report different types of paranormal activity. A bartender heard military drumming from the cemetery next door (the cemetery is the final resting place of several confederate soldiers). One worker heard the disembodied voice of a female ghost in the kitchen. In addition, staff has come to work in the morning to find that pots moved from shelves on to the floor. Finally, people have seen shadow figures and full-body apparitions in the woods that surround the Moon River. They even say the ghosts wear bandanas like old west outlaws.
Unfortunately the owners of the Moon River Bar and Grill closed the restaurant a few months after I investigated. I had hopes that other paranormal investigation groups would visit this haunted restaurant so I could compare experiences. Glad I was able to take the news team there to share the location with the public.
