We caught paranormal activity ghost hunting at a haunted antiques store where staff reports stuff moving, being touched, and items flying!
Haunted Antiques Store
Staff of the haunted antiques store reported stuff moving, being touched, and items flying. Based on the prankster behavior of the haunting my original thoughts were that his might be a poltergeist case. Logistically, this was one of the most challenging places I’ve investigated! There was old antiques everywhere which made the site a challenge to investigate. Not only are you looking for ghosts, but you have to mind everywhere you step (especially in the dark of night). Add creepy antiques such as devil statues and scary paintings, the store was very disorienting. On a lighter note, the people who owned this San Antonio, Texas based store reminded me of the show American Pickers. They could tell you a lot about their collection and they stated they added new stuff daily. If spirits can attach themselves to antiques, than there is no surprise they caught something with the amount of items they collect.
This paranormal investigation features an experience caught by freelance investigator Jay Villarreal who thought he heard a ghost respond to a question he asked in Spanish. One of my frustrations with paranormal TV shows is that when they travel to haunted places around the world they try to speak to the spirits in English. I have to imagine if a ghost is an entity that once was alive, it would only understand the language it spoke when it was living. San Antonio, TX was once part of Mexico and many people to this day speak Spanish because of its proximity to that country. That is why I was thrilled to see a spirit respond to a Spanish question.
I would like to thank Jay Villarreal and Roger of Shadowlight Paranormal for the invitation to join him on this paranormal investigation!
